How to Use
One Ear Candle per ear, ears come as a pair so BOTH ear should be treated. Each Ear Candle should take approx 12 to 14 minutes to burn.
Water container to extinguish lit candle once it has been removed from the ear.
Pair of scissors to cut the base of the used candle to view removed wax and debris from the ear.
We recommend that another person hold the Ear Candle in a vertical position for you.
PROCESS TO FOLLOW
Refrigerate Ear Candle for half hour before use. Slows burning time.
Create a relaxed atmosphere before you start, possibly with relaxtion music. Lie the person down on one side in a comfortable position, with the auditory canal in a vertical position. Have the scissors and the glass of water to extinguish the Ear Candle on completion of therapy.
Our ear candles are made from 100% pure organic beeswax which generally burn cleanly without debris or ash, however, please cover the side of the face & hair with a cloth as a precaution! For additional comfort our Ear Candles contain a gauze filter and protective disc.
Ear candling must be done in an environment with no breeze or air movement. If flame flickers to one side then candle is burning unevenly resulting in one side of candle being hotter than the other.
Do not push the candle into the ear.
Make sure the candle is vertical at all times. If the candle is burning when on an incline one side burns faster than the other and could result in an unbalanced therapy.
If ash begins to form at the top of candle gently turn candle in the ear so that flame covers the burnt material to burn it away faster.
IMPORTANT. Do not keep removing and replacing the candle from ear whilst it is burning.
Turn person over to repeat the above process for the other ear. Ensure both ears are candled within the same session or the client may become unbalanced.
